self-pity and a blue funk
that has caused, slightly,
a seeming delay in the
daily quips and quotes
(not to mention a complete lack
of anything with more meat
in it than this quickly
prattled off banter to add to
some concrete content for you, who I do it all for)
But I've actually broken
my hand. My right hand,
to be exact.
This, as you may undoubtably
already surmise, makes it
very difficult to type.
And right around the holidays,
which are always ripe with fodder
for the engines of family-related
angst and creativity.
